Double room to rent in a modern (2 bed) second floor apartment in quiet residential area in Horfield.
The room itself is a double room, currently it has a good king size bed and a built in wardrobe (3 doors, very big!), other furniture negotiable. Or if preferred I can get rid of the bed and the room can be unfurnished.
Large lounge/dining room leading onto kitchen with washing machine, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob. All are built in modern appliances.
Large bathroom with bath/shower which will be primarily used by you as I have an en-suite so no morning fights over the bathroom!!
Overall the flat is lovely, light and warm with plenty of parking. If you don’t drive it has excellent public transport links. Filton Abbey Wood train station is about 15 mins walk away. Bus stop on Filton Avenue (to centre, UWE, Cribbs, Parkway etc) is 1 minute walk away and the bus stop on Gloucester Road is about 5 minutes walk away! It’s my first flat, I’ve only lived here just over a month and I would want someone to move in who respects the flat. Ideally you wouldn’t spend all of your time in your room, (although I totally appreciate the need for your own space) I would like a flatmate not a lodger and hopefully you would turn into a friend and we would spend time outside of the flat as well. So on that note a bit about me would be useful, I’m a 26 year old female professional. I would like another female to share with, purely because I have shared with males for quite a few years and I am missing girly housemates! In the week I like to come home from work and chill with the tv, glass of wine or gym session. At the weekends I am a bit more active, I like to catch up with friends, shopping, and other pretty standard things really. I would be looking for someone nearish to my own age but similar interests are more important than age, and as I mentioned, ideally female. Also, if you have a partner who would be at the flat a lot this isn’t the place for you, it isn’t really big enough for 3 people. Also I would be looking for a professional (not DSS or students) for rent purposes.
The rent would be £320 per month plus bills, wireless internet is already installed and is currently £6, other bills I’m not too sure on the exact figure as I’ve only just moved in but so far they have been pretty cheap. At a guess I think it probably would be a maximum of £400 a month in total (I’m not even sure it would be that much!), including council tax, gas, water, elec, and internet.
